Hi, I’m Laurene, Founder of Lice Oasis, certified head lice expert, twin mom, and your calm in the lice storm.

My journey into lice removal started at home — after battling head lice twice with my own twins. I know firsthand how overwhelming and stressful it can be for families, which is why I’ve spent the last 10 years helping thousands of families eliminate lice quickly and confidently.

I previously owned and operated The Littlest Lice Shop in West Bridgewater, MA for eight years before closing in 2023 to focus on family life. As lice made a strong comeback, I returned to mobile services with The Mobile Lice Shop and quickly saw the growing need for professional lice care in Western Massachusetts — which led me to open Lice Oasis in Chicopee.

I hold multiple professional lice removal certifications, including advanced training through the Shepherd Method™ of Strand-by-Strand Nit and Lice Removal from Katie Shepherd. I partner with doctors’ offices, schools, camps, and child care centers to provide education, prevention, and real solutions that work.

I’m also the Founder and CEO of Lice Care Collective, LLC, the parent company behind Lice Oasis, Let’s Learn About Lice, The Nit Network, and NitBiz Consulting. Through this collective approach, my mission is to help families save time, stress, and money by using effective treatments, while also supporting and educating lice professionals so no one has to navigate this industry alone.
